Katherine Jones’ distinctive images focus on ordinary objects, spaces and buildings as a framework to begin to question perceptions of safety and danger. Jones is a fine art printmaker and painter. She combines painting, intaglio and relief print to produce her distinctive images in discourse with perceptions of safety and danger. Her approach to the work is direct and painterly.

Jones was brought up in Herefordshire, she studies at Cambridge School of Art, and MA Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell College of Art,(1998-2001). She currently lives and works in Brixton. South London.
