Coastal Defence is a series of multiple block, reduction, relief printed engravings and woodcuts which explore the local in a global context. Looking at the idea of connectedness, place and loss, the work considers how the sea connects coastal places and draws parallels between the Norfolk coastline and coastal regions and communities around the world.
