EXHIBITION
Katherine Jones RA
BRIGHT NEW
21 September – 18 October 2024
In Katherine Jones’ Bright New, paintings and prints expand on the motif of the flower, often repeated within the same series. The various stages of growth echo annual renewal and the cycle of the seasons.
The paintings shift from reflective to matt, incised to impasto; the accompanying prints reflect the painterly qualities of luminous light and colour.
